Staff Management | SMX has a great opportunity with growth potential available for a Training Coordinator at our busy manufacturing facility in Tipton, PA. Training Coordinators are responsible for planning and leading training activities for our production associates. The company training that you provide will help develop employee skills, improve productivity, and improve the caliber of our work.
As the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating on-the-job training and orientations for new and current associates. You will work closely with the Account Supervisors and Safety Manager to assess training needs and to ensure that all necessary training is completed. The ideal candidate will think creatively and develop training content that challenges and energizes associates.
What you'll do:
Plan continuing education and personal development sessions for associates.
Collaborate with managers to assess training gaps and decide training topics.
Develop training manuals and visual aids for workshops and seminars.
Ensure that all computers and hardware are configured to handle training needs.
Evaluate the success of training sessions.
What you bring to the table:
High School Diploma/GED Required.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing.
Prior training experience.
Strong presentation and teaching skills.
Strong management and leadership skills.
Strong customer service and client relations skills.
Must be a good strategic planner and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Computer Skills (MS Office, Excel, PPT and Word)
