Description

Staff Management seeks an Operations Manager to oversee our centralized services operations at our corporate office in Chicago, IL. The Operations Manager, will be responsible for making sure that all of our centralized data entry production and field requests are met, that our seasonal hourly associates are meeting the production deadlines as required by priority and volume needs. As Operations Manager, you must be familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures, to include recruitment, onboarding requirements and other duties related to meeting client orders.

What you’ll do:

  • Managing day-to-day interaction with internal and external customers, including daily information flow, problem solving, process improvements, reporting and direct management of the department team

  • Evaluate and implement the most efficient processes for all aspects of the department.

  • Manager and monitor for the highest level of customer service to all customers.

  • Handle field requests and changes from field recruiters and directors

  • Manage the hours, costs, and outside allocations for the department.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer service, hiring, THINK courses, payroll and monthly cost analysis.

  • Assist in maintaining office operations and process flow consistent with the work volume.

  • Focus on the highest and most effective levels of service to meet client orders in the most-timely manner.

  • Generate daily / weekly reports to management team including but not limited to:

  • Cost to Sales

  • Hours to Sales

  • Revenue / Sales by Week

  • Order Fill rate by client

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED required.

  • 5+ years of management/supervisory experience.

  • Ability to work 40-60 hours per week based on volume. Travel up to 5% for training.

  • Multi-tasking and project management skills preferred.

  • Previous centralized service or high volume data entry production experience is highly desirable.

  • Very strong PC Skills (MS Office, Excel, PPT, and Wod) and web based systems experience required.

  • Ability to respond to customer requests on urgent matters.

  • Strong communication skills with a proven track record of successful customer service, client relations, and follow up.

  • Ability to take ownership of the department with minimum or no direction.

  • Ability to adapt to a rapid environment and analyze processes.

  • Excellent employee relations skills. Must be energetic and present great attention to detail and organization.
