Staff Management | SMX is hiring 1st Shift Quality Assurance Technicians positions in Chattanooga, TN! This is a Temp-to-Hire position with a leading electronics manufacturer. The starting pay rate is $18.50/hour with a pay increase to $20/hour after 90 days + $1,000 sign-on bonus! Hours are 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Pay Rate: $18.50 - $20.00 / hour
Duties:
Analyze products leading to continuous quality improvement and/or cost reduction.
Maintain the inventory and calibration status of any and all equipment used by the Quality Assurance department.
Conduct environmental and reliability tests in accordance with established standards.
Develop specialized test fixtures for departmental use as needed.
Assist with the inspection of incoming products.
Assist in the establishment of quality standards and procedures.
Ensure proper data collection and prepare reports.

Position Requirements:
Associate degree in Electronics preferred but not required.
2 or more years previous test and analysis experience in an evaluation lab environment.
Self-starter and ability to work independently.
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of personnel, and good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to stand for shift durations and lift up to 50 pounds.
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 30 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.50 - $20.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
