Multi Trade-Mechanic to support its Asheboro, NC battery manufacturing facility. This position supports both mechanical, as well as electrical processes, involved in battery manufacturing. Educational Requirement

The candidate must have H.S. diploma or an educational equivalent and an appropriate mix of training.

Industry: Administrative/Clerical.

Duties: Repair and maintain the automated manufacturing equipment in a high volume environment. Troubleshoot and diagnose manufacturing equipment malfunctions and make the necessary repairs. Assist with assembly, setup, debugging and installation of automated machinery. The candidate will be expected to provide equipment care leadership and colleague training on the manufacturing floor. Candidate must take personal pride in equipment care and providing suggestions for improvements to the manufacturing process improvements.

-Understanding of applicable codes and standards relative to NFPA 70(NEC). -Knowledgeable and competent in safety disciplines stipulated by NFPA 70E (OSHA). -Candidate must be able to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics (including European Standards). -General Electronic competencies: Knowledge and experience with: Pneumatic valves, motors and control systems, and various sensing devices (proximity, photo electric, mechanical, etc.) -Work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs
